Overview

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that support regional business goals and revenue targets.  Partnering with sales and collaborating across marketing, you will curate engaging programs that drive account expansion and accelerate the sales cycle.  This role requires a data-guided, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for driving results.  

Responsibilities

  • Build, own, and execute region-specific marketing plans that support sales objectives and address pipeline needs. 
  • Be a trusted partner to sales leadership by leveraging market research to identify the needs and opportunities of each territory. 
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify pipeline gaps and coverage needs. Develop and recommend targeted strategies, including webinars, events, emails, ads, and direct mail campaigns, to ensure comprehensive coverage across Enterprise and Strategic segments. 
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to align on goals, messaging, and GTM strategies. 
  • Partner with sales and K-12 school organizations to understand the unique challenges they face, uncover their decision-making processes, and identify key personas within the educational system. 
  • Regularly track and report on program performance and return on investment (ROI), ensuring the ability to quickly iterate and adjust to changing market or regional demands. 
  • Represent Revenue Marketing on executive presentations, pipeline meetings, and other strategic meetings. 

Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

Qualifications include: 

  • Balance of "strategic thinking" and "getting things done" 
  • 5+ years of relevant field marketing and account management/marketing experience in a B2B SaaS or edtech company 
  • Demonstrate a metrics-driven approach to success and show ROI by tracking results against budget 
  • Salesforce CRM, ABM, and Marketo experience strongly preferred 
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams 
  • Strong understanding of ABM and field marketing best practices 
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $68,000 – $154,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
