Responsibilities

Description

The Supervisor, Sales Development is a hybrid leadership role combining management responsibilities with active sales development tasks. It involves leading an assigned team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) as they contact customers and prospects daily via phone and email to find leads and sales-ready opportunities. The Supervisor will execute team goals, hire, train and develop team members, and work closely with the Manager, Sales Development and sales and marketing leaders. The Supervisor will motivate, lead, mentor and guide the team to achieving pipeline and revenue goals, improve process efficiencies and deliver on other well-define goals while ensuring a high-quality customer service experience for leads 

 

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Oversee and take part in hiring and training Sales Development Representatives. 
  • Ensure key performance metrics are consistently met or exceeded. 
  • Collaborate with Director/sales leaders to ensure pipeline quality and pass along qualified opportunities. 
  • Proactively engaging and prospecting new business opportunities and customers 
  • Measure, monitor and report on Sales Development KPIs (key performance indicators) 
  • Execute prospecting campaigns and self-sourced outbound prospecting activities. 
  • Provide new Sales Development reps with the necessary onboarding, training, coaching and guidance to ensure success and career development. 
  • Work closely with Director, Sales Development/Talent Team on all potential risk and disciplinary actions  
  • Develop and execute career development plans for team and self. 
  • Lead sales training and product training sessions. 
  • Manage prebuilt personalized reports and communicate progress. 
  • Develop process and policy as necessary to ensure business goals are met. 
  • Motivate and maintain morale to ensure goals are met. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 
  • 2 years sales training and management experience  
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) 
  • Excellent presentation and sales development skills 
  • Works well in a collaborative environment

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $65,400 - $86,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
