Team Overview

Our Sales team serves the critical role of getting our products into the hands of our customers. This talented team works hard to build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as looks for new business opportunities to expand our reach.

Responsibilities

As an Account Representative, International Sales, you will be part of a dynamic sales organization responsible for growing our business in Brazil and Portugal, and across the LATAM region at PowerSchool. Included in this responsibility is selling our solutions to international schools, governments, and organizations in the assigned territory. The Account Representative, International Sales role is to achieve company-designated sales targets, and as part of that prospect, qualify and build relationships with new customers, and retain and extend relationships with our existing client base in their assigned territory. The Account Representative, International Sales must be proficient in qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, presenting, and explaining the benefits of PowerSchool solutions, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales. The Account Representative, International Sales will mainly use online product demonstration tools. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sourcing prospects, developing opportunities and selling to a select group of small to medium sized business accounts within our team-based setting. 
  • Building new opportunities through self-sourced outbound prospecting activities. 
  • Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with PowerSchool's International Sales teams. 
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns focusing on specific territory and product offerings. 
  • Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota. 
  • Managing and submitting weekly forecasts against assigned and quota. 
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed metrics as defined by the International Sales Leadership Team. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

Qualifications include: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in technology sales. 
  • Team player mindset with drive, conviction, and positive energy. 
  • Ability to be coached, trained, and mentored toward a successful software sales career. 
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills. 
  • Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by positioning the competitive advantages of PowerSchool's platform of products. 
  • Ability to consistently gather feedback from customers and stay abreast of competitive offerings. 
  • Preferred experience in K12 education market with experience calling into international schools, educational organizations, and school groups. 
  • Must have strong skills in MS Office. 
  • Desire to grow within an organization. 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings, as required by territory. 
  • Language skills: Fluent English and Portuguese, and Spanish preferred.  Other relevant languages a plus.
  • Some travel (<20%) is required.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $65,800 - $85,700 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
