Team Overview

Our Marketing team leads, develops, and executes PowerSchool’s global marketing initiatives. Responsible for brand, corporate communications, demand-generation, and solution marketing, the team works across all major marketing functions to drive alignment of the organization’s messages across all channels to ensure we meet our sales targets.

Description

Website Administrator/Webmaster will be responsible for managing and maintaining PowerSchool’s marketing websites, ensuring that the security, privacy, functionality, design, and content align with our marketing goals. This role works closely with the marketing team to optimize the site for lead generation, brand awareness, and user experience.  


Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Perform regular technical updates to our content-management systems, on-site chat functionality, user cookie/privacy and compliance software. 
  • Manage the structure and navigation of our website and on-page chat function to maximize user-friendliness 
  • Build and update website pages for PowerSchool’s Marketing Team as well as for cross-functional stakeholders in the Legal, Leadership and Partnerships departments. 
  • Support the integration of our digital marketing technical stack 
  • Optimize our website for search engines (SEO) through page speed optimizations, clear canonical structure and structured data fields. 
  • Communicate and collaborate with designers and developers on project requirements and deadlines 
  • Serve as the Team’s expert for best practices around website security, data privacy, technical SEO and CMS management. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience with web development in a business-critical environment, developing strong, usable websites and on-page chat experiences 
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with WordPress CMS and plug-ins 
    • Experience editing and building responsive, optimized WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins 
    • Familiarity with CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery skills and experience working with SQL/databases 
    • Familiarity with server-side technologies and database management as it relates to technical integrations of lead capture, lead tracking and data privacy 
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $68,400 - $133,700 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
