Our Sales team serves the critical role of getting our products into the hands of our customers. This talented team works hard to build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as looks for new business opportunities to expand our reach.

Responsibilities

 

The Solution Engineer, LATAM is responsible for providing pre-sales application support for a wide range of products and solutions that the PowerSchool Sales Team represents in the LATAM market. This pre-sales support is provided through the Solutions Engineering Team, but also includes responsibility for areas such as general sales team product/solution coaching, pre-sales support coordination with partners or other third parties who contribute to pre-sales solutions product/solution, coordinating and working with PowerSchool cross-functional departments such as the Request for Proposals (RFP) team on crafting responses for RFPs, the Product team to understand and articulate product value, limitations and roadmap to prospective customers and the Services and Support teams to understand and articulate the Services that support each Product demonstrated.   

 

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Assist in the sales development/discovery process and re-envision the needs of prospective customers through the lens that can solve customer pain points with PowerSchool products. 
  • Actively review the K-12 education industry to stay well-informed of market trends and competitors  
  • Support Sales partners by leading product demonstrations throughout the sales process.  
  • Coordinate resources to collaborate and respond with the best solution set (i.e., products) to solve for customer needs. 
  • Review current content and draft new content where applicable to respond to RFPs/RFIs  
  • Provide rapid, accurate responses to complex questions from sales staff in the field  
  • Present PowerSchool solutions and vision during events sponsored by Marketing, including webinars, industry conferences, etc. 
  • Support the process of accurately and smoothly handing off customers from Sales to the Services organization after the close of a sale 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.  Education, Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.
  • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.  
  • Ability to work independently without supervision while being a member of the team and adhering to company policies/regulations  
  • Experience listening to the customer with the ability to cater to their needs by tailoring an appropriate product and solution for them
  • Proficient at handling a high volume of work and multiple priorities simultaneously and operating in a demanding work environment 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 Education domain preferred

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $61,800 - $113,600 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
