Responsibilities

Description

The Enterprise Applications team is seeking an experienced Principal Salesforce Solution Architect with outstanding business acumen and extensive Service Cloud expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of Salesforce experience with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strategic business thinking to drive digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will lead solution design, mentor junior team members, and serve as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with business stakeholders and analysts to understand business requirements.
  • Lead the design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds, with primary focus on Service Cloud implementations and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive solution architecture documentation, including technical specifications, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
  • Design and oversee implementation of telephony integrations including CTI, voice routing, and omnichannel customer service solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior solution architects, developers, and quality assurance engineers.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide architectural oversight for multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party applications, integrations, and platform extensions to enhance business capabilities.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops with business users and stakeholders.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Service Cloud capabilities including case management, knowledge management, field service, and customer portals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or Senior Technical Consultant with extensive Service Cloud implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Outstanding business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Service Cloud functionality including case management, knowledge base, omnichannel routing, and customer community portals.
  • Proven experience with telephony integrations, CTI implementations, and contact center technologies (Amazon Connect, Talkdesk, Genesys, Five9, or similar platforms preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, and integration patterns including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and declarative development tools.
  • Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data migration strategies, ETL processes, and large-scale data management initiatives.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Salesforce certifications required: System Architect, Application Architect, and Service Cloud Consultant. Additional certifications such as Data Architect or Integration Architect strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Data Cloud, Agentic AI and Security Best Practices.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, implementations, and training as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $151,800 - $208,900 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
