Team Overview

Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency.

Responsibilities

Description

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Design and build AWS serverless components using Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway
      and related services.
    • Develop backend services and components using Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
    • Write and optimize SQL for data access and reporting workloads; Snowflake experience is a
      plus.
    • Implement AI-driven solutions to extract business logic from legacy code, generate new
      report parameter screens and metadata, and perform logic validation.
    • Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and cross-functional teams on architecture and
      roadmap execution.
    • Contribute to code quality, testing, performance tuning, logging, monitoring, and
      observability.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to continuously improve the
      platform.
    • Drive technical project strategy, lead large-scale ML infrastructure optimization, and oversee the design and implementation of state-of-the-art GenAI solutions.
    • Leverage modern orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, semantic routers) to coordinate multi-step, tool-augmented workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for backend development.
  • Strong SQL foundation; comfort with complex transformations.
  • Demonstrated AI engineering experience, such as LLM integration, embeddings, or AI-
    driven code workflows.
  • Experience building distributed systems, data-intensive applications, or modernizing legacy
    systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to dive deep into complex logic.
  • Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouse experience.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Experience with AI automation tools, code-gen frameworks, or metadata extraction
    pipelines.
  • Strong communication and collaborative engineering habits.
  • Some basic understanding and experience of Data Science Algorithms

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $79,700 - $136,800 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
