Job Purpose
The director of content marketing leads the development and implementation of content within the marketing organization to build brand preference, audience engagement, digital authority, and inbound traffic for our brand and solution campaigns. This individual and his or her team achieve this by aligning content strategy and creation in various formats to support engagement with one or more target audiences and related keyword universes.
This role owns the development of the overall content marketing charter, strategy, and editorial calendar, and evangelizes the need for content marketing to support awareness and drive demand. Additionally, the role owns the creation of related primary and derivative assets to support frequent publication of content via one or more “destination publications.” Typically, these include blog posts and related content that builds thought leadership and digital authority and promotes brand objectives. These content marketing efforts are closely aligned with campaign-related content and tactics. The director of content marketing is responsible for communicating the team vision and results to executive leadership.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $120,000 – $130,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
